Rob is a visual artist who focuses on figurative painting. At the core of what he does is a love for storytelling—especially the stories that shape who we are as people. Whether he is painting portraits or bigger narrative scenes, he is interested in how identity is expressed not just in how we look, but also in the way we connect with the world around us. Environment, clothing, and posture are important motifs in his work.
Outside the studio, Rob is a passionate advocate of the creative arts, especially at the grassroots level. He has worked as a part-time arts lecturer and runs workshops in schools and colleges, encouraging creativity not just as a pastime, but as a real and rewarding career choice.
Rob is currently based in Surrey, UK, where he works out of his studio.
